Power BI-Developer

Infosys is seeking a Power BI-Developer to own the full lifecycle of BI solutions, from capturing requirements to design, development, testing, integration, and ongoing monitoring. This onsite role in Dallas, TX stresses meticulous documentation, knowledge sharing, and proactive resolution of production issues within an agile SDLC. The successful candidate will convert business needs into robust BI deliverables while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Assist in targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, ensuring stakeholder requirements are documented accurately
• Participate in design discussions to derive software specifications and help create comprehensive process documentation
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications aligned with detailed design specs to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects to the development team to drive performance improvements
• Support the integration of new features, enabling smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt issue resolution and maintaining thorough operational documentation
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge base
