Palantir Engineer - Data Engineer II
Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a Palantir Engineer - Data Engineer II to help design and connect end-to-end use cases inside the Palantir environment. In this Huntsville, AL onsite role, you will support mission-critical operations by discovering, integrating, and transforming disparate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) data sources into systems that stakeholders can use with confidence. The work includes close collaboration with customers and hands-on development of Palantir configurations and data pipelines.
What you’ll do
- Build end-to-end use cases that deliver measurable value across mission-critical operations.
- Work directly with customers to prototype solutions, collect feedback, and refine functionality aligned to user needs.
- Configure and maintain ontologies to structure enterprise data models across multiple, disparate data sources.
- Develop data transformation pipelines for ingestion, processing, and analysis within the Palantir environment.
- Create workflows and automated decision-support solutions, while also supporting requirements gathering, demonstrations, and deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Active Secret clearance.
- 1+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry, or 1+ years building workflow applications on low-code/no-code platforms, or 1+ years of data engineering experience on large data platforms such as Databricks.
- Experience facilitating technical workshops and client demonstrations.
- Experience implementing artificial intelligence in workflow applications, including agentic solutions.
- 1+ years developing data pipelines and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
- Ability to travel 10-15% on average based on client needs and the work you do.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
