Job Description
Guidehouse is seeking a Palantir Developer for an onsite role in Los Angeles, CA, with a salary range of USD 113,000 to 188,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver full-stack Palantir Foundry applications, from data modeling to user interfaces.
- Develop both frontend and backend components within the Foundry platform to ensure cohesive functionality and integration.
- Enhance user interfaces and visualization designs to support data driven decision making.
- Build operational applications using Foundry tools such as Workshop, Quiver, and Slate.
- Create interactive workflow user interfaces.
- Enable analytics by building or accessing data versions inside the platform as needed.
- Implement writeback capabilities within the platform where required.
- Produce data visualizations with Foundry tools (Quiver and Contour) and Power BI as appropriate.
- Maintain and evolve applications as usage grows and requirements change.
- Develop data pipelines using PySpark to generate datasets, Foundry objects, and UI applications within the Foundry environment.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to understand the ontology and data pipelines supporting the applications.
- Support end-to-end data pipeline development using Python and PySpark for ETL and deriving new datasets for business applications.
- Design and build for high-scale, data-intensive workflows.
- Validate data and perform analysis, writing unit tests with PyTest for pipelines and automated checks.
- Implement Foundry Expectations and Health checks to automate validations for data freshness, schema checks, primary keys, and more complex scenarios that may abort builds or trigger warnings; monitor data quality and staleness issues.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
- Debug and resolve issues reported by users or uncovered during testing.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Palantir Foundry expertise with full-stack development experience.
- Experience in developing data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Experience in advanced data science or analytics using multiple platforms and open-source technologies.
- Ability to design and deliver solutions with autonomy while collaborating as part of a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Strong consulting skills: identifying client needs, building relationships, and driving initiatives forward.
