Job Description
This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining MuleSoft integration solutions that connect cloud and on-premises systems and enable secure data exchange.
Overview
The position centers on building and sustaining integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to link diverse enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable architectures and ensure delivery aligns with standard SDLC practices. The role emphasizes secure data exchange, reliable integrations, and ongoing alignment with evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft based integration solutions using the Anypoint Platform to connect cloud and on premise systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to elicit requirements and translate them into scalable system architectures aligned with business goals.
- Create RESTful APIs to enable secure, efficient data exchange between applications such as Salesforce, PegaSystems, and other enterprise platforms.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high quality deliverables in accordance with the SDLC.
- Maintain thorough documentation of integration workflows, configurations, and technical specifications for future reference and audits.
- Apply security best practices including cloud security controls, system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and threat intelligence integration to protect sensitive data.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Git to streamline deployments across environments such as AWS, Azure, and VMware virtualization platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering enterprise integrations with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or comparable middleware solutions.
- Solid understanding of SOA, microservices, and scalable system design principles.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, and scripting languages like Bash or Shell scripting.
- Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra), and ETL processes for data migration and transformation.
- Experience working in Agile environments employing DevOps practices for efficient project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, DHCP, and network security protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and virtualization technologies like VMware/ESXi for infrastructure management.
- Ability to perform system administration tasks for Windows and Linux, design system architecture, and implement hardening techniques.
- Knowledge of API management including RESTful and SOAP web services; experience integrating with Salesforce or PegaSystems is advantageous.
