Mid–Senior Web Developer
Job Description
Experienced web developer to design, build, and maintain the web applications and services that connect our franchise network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain PHP and MySQL based web applications and ancillary services
- Enhance and document the custom API bridging our desktop applications with web services
- Identify, diagnose, and fix production issues
- Collaborate with the development team to improve existing sites and drive new initiatives
- Assess technical trade offs and clearly communicate decisions to non engineers
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of professional web development experience
- Proficient with the LAMP or LEMP stack
- Solid core skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
- Comfortable with Git and modern version control practices
- Demonstrated history of owning features from specification through deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain technical decisions to non engineers
