Mid-Level Software Engineer

Adeptus Solutions, Inc. is looking for a mid-level software engineer to join a remote team focused on delivering robust software solutions. The role centers on designing, developing, and maintaining applications while collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow developers. You will also mentor junior teammates and contribute to architectural discussions as part of a forward-looking engineering group.

Compensation

Salary: USD 98,000 - 129,329 per year.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and maintain software applications in line with specifications to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and peers to ship features on schedule.
• Identify and fix defects, profile code, and optimize performance for maintainability.
• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Assist in designing and implementing software architecture.
• Stay informed about new technologies and advocate for their appropriate use.

Requirements

• A minimum of 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and/or back-end stacks (Node.js, Django, Spring).
• Strong understanding of databases, including SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, with Git preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
