Mid Level Angular Developer

CGI Group, Inc. is seeking a Mid Level Angular Developer to help build and sustain Angular and Java applications within a collaborative, multi-site environment. This onsite role is based in Washington, DC, with opportunities to contribute across sites in Washington, DC and Huntsville, AL. The position carries a salary range of USD 58,000 - 136,200 per yearly and requires a minimum of three years of relevant development experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of both new and existing Angular and Java based applications.
• Troubleshoot software defects and implement fixes.
• Enhance and expand existing applications to meet evolving requirements.

Requirements

• Academic background in computer science, computer engineering, or a related major with substantial technical content.
• At least 3 years of relevant development experience with a focus on Angular.
• Experience with a mix of AngularJS 1.X, Angular 2.0+, TypeScript, Spring, SpringBoot, and Java.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn and understand the nature of the business.
• Capability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
