This onsite Senior Data Engineer - Manager role in PwC's Managed Services is based in Miami, FL. The position leads data engineering initiatives and client engagements within the Data & Analytics practice, emphasizing strategic planning, mentoring junior staff, and delivering analytics-driven solutions to optimize client performance. The annual compensation ranges from USD 99,000 to 232,000.

Responsibilities

• Head data engineering initiatives to extract strategic insights and enhance client business performance, including ETL and ELT integration.
• Design and deploy innovative data solutions utilizing advanced analytics techniques, including DataStage.
• Oversee and coach teams to improve skills and deliver high-quality services, with a focus on pipeline architecture.
• Leverage business intelligence tools and cloud analytics platforms to strengthen data driven decision making, including AWS and Redshift.
• Build and sustain data pipelines and architectures to support analytics programs, using DB2 and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover opportunities for data utilization and process improvements, employing GoldenGate and CDC where applicable.
• Oversee the deployment of scalable visualization and reporting solutions, including performance tuning.
• Promote adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams, such as S3 and Glue.
• Address and resolve client and team conflicts or issues, escalating as required.
• Maintain professional and technical standards, adhering to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience.
