Machine Learning Engineer

Build and deploy AI/ML capabilities for a Command and Control (C2) environment with ASRC Federal Technology Solutions. This onsite opportunity is based in El Paso, TX and supports a contract where candidates with DoD Secret clearance or higher can contribute to data-driven software and model lifecycle work, from implementation to monitoring and analysis.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain data-driven software solutions that support business needs.
• Develop, test, and implement AI/ML models and tools to improve business processes.
• Stay current on AI/ML industry trends to identify technologies that can enhance and sustain efficient data systems.
• Support implementation, testing, and monitoring for data processing pipelines and AI/ML learning products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Analyze and interpret data to extract meaningful insights using C2 and AI/ML tools.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout development and into execution.
• Perform other tasks that align with the general scope of Data Engineers/Scientists work and the stated PWS framework.

Required qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance or higher (candidates without a minimum of Secret clearance will not be considered).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree desired). Additional years of related work experience can substitute for a degree.
• 3+ years of experience developing software.
• 2+ years developing and implementing AI models using machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with Palantir tools, including Palantir Gotham, Palantir Foundry, and Palantir Metropolis.
• Strong programming knowledge of Java, Python, and C++.
• Proven experience in Palantir software development and artificial intelligence.
• Experience designing and implementing machine learning infrastructure to train and deploy large language models.
• Knowledge of Agile development using Scrum.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
• Proficiency with one or more major deep learning frameworks.
• On-site role in El Paso, TX.
