Machine Learning Engineer

Vuegen is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer in Hoffman Estates, IL (onsite) to build and deploy machine learning models for image-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing machine learning models for image-based solutions following established guidelines
• Assist in researching and benchmarking state-of-the-art ML techniques by creating proof-of-concept implementations, evaluating performance, and documenting results clearly
• Assist in deploying ML models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support scalability, performance, and reliability requirements under the team lead’s guidance
• Perform data collection, validation, and basic analysis to support model performance monitoring and improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support implementation of technical solutions
• Stay current on emerging AI and machine learning technologies and apply relevant concepts to assigned project tasks

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Compensation

• USD 130,707 - 132,000 per year

Location and Work Setup

• Hoffman Estates, IL (onsite)
• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States may be required
