Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and program personnel
• Engage in cross-functional product or process improvement meetings using Six Sigma style principles
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and tools
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, coding, and testing
• Follow RMS engineering processes and procedures while performing software engineering and verification activities
• Collaborate with teammates across physical sites and guide junior engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with software development experience; minimum 9 years of experience
• C++ software development skills
• Experience debugging, unit testing, and integration testing
• Experience leading a software development team
• Experience with formal testing, verification, and validation
• Experience mentoring software engineers in a team setting
• Professional experience with Agile Principles, CI/CD methodologies, and Agile configuration management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level; U.S. citizenship required
