Job Description
Innovien Solutions is seeking a hands-on Lead Full Stack AEM Developer to own the Adobe Experience Manager side of a high-traffic consumer website platform. This hybrid role combines technical leadership with day-to-day engineering across AEM, Java-based services, AWS infrastructure, and modern front-end development.
In this direct-hire position, you will guide implementation and architectural choices while staying close to the code: reviewing, mentoring, and troubleshooting across author, publish, and dispatcher environments on-prem and in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support AEM applications that power a high-traffic public site
- Lead technically through code review, engineering standards, mentoring, and architecture decision-making
- Support the AEM environment across on-prem and cloud, including author, publish, and dispatcher
- Build end-to-end solutions using Java, REST-based microservices, AWS, and modern front-end technologies
- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver enhancements in collaboration with developers and architects
Requirements
- 8+ years in software development, including 4+ years hands-on AEM development and support of production sites using 6.5 and/or AEM as a Cloud Service
- Strong AEM component development experience, including Sling Models, OSGi services, HTL, editable templates, and dispatcher and cache configuration
- Strong core Java skills, including experience designing and consuming REST-based microservices
- Hands-on AWS experience supporting AEM author, publish, and dispatcher in the cloud, plus on-prem AEM experience
- Front-end and full-stack depth with modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and at least one framework (React preferred)
- Technical leadership demonstrated without requiring a management title
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
