Junior Quickbase Developer
Job Description
Build and improve cloud business systems as a Junior Quickbase Developer on a client project with remote flexibility across the USA. This contract role runs for 12+ months with a contract-to-hire path, focused on low-code development in Quickbase to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing administration and development of cloud business systems, with a focus on low-code solutions in Quickbase
- Translate business requirements and process documentation into technical requirements, solution design, and reporting design
- Train employees on application use, including functionality, data quality, and reporting, and help resolve application issues
- Create and maintain documentation and user support materials to keep systems understandable and usable
- Analyze and implement best-practice business processes that align with forward-facing technology and solutions at scale
- Monitor routine and critical workflows, proactively identifying problem trends before they escalate
- Collect feedback from end users to continuously improve systems and workflows
- Research new tools and solutions to support growth while staying nimble and competitive
- Provide technical guidance to the CI team to refine business requirements and deliver new scalable solutions
- Work across multiple initiatives to support end-to-end project lifecycle management for business systems
- Troubleshoot platform issues and define best practices to reduce repeat incidents
Requirements
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience implementing and supporting business systems software platforms
- College degree with an IT or Business Process major/focus preferred
- Strong technical acumen, including comfort with relational databases and data structures (Quickbase experience required)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong data analysis and modeling experience, with understanding of data architecture
- Strong organizational skills to balance, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with differing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document accurately and communicate comfortably with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability
