IT Integrations Developer
Job Description
Senior IT Integrations Developer based in Denver, CO (onsite), focusing on Epicor Prophet 21 ERP integrations and MuleSoft API led integration across P21 Cloud and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support integrations for the Epicor Prophet 21 ERP ecosystem.
- Create APIs and data transformation logic to link Prophet 21 Cloud with enterprise applications and external systems.
- Lead Epicor P21 Cloud migration integrations from on premise to cloud environments.
- Develop and manage REST and SOAP APIs for Prophet 21 and related systems.
- Build custom integrations using Epicor tools, APIs, and service oriented architectures.
- Ensure reliable uptime and optimized performance of Prophet 21 integrated solutions.
- Oversee the full API lifecycle from design through deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Design API led integration solutions connecting P21 Cloud with internal and external systems.
- Develop reusable services, endpoints, and data transformation components.
- Work with modern API standards including REST, JSON, and XML.
- Create reusable API assets and connectors to enable scalable development.
- Support hybrid architectures that combine cloud and on premise environments.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross functional teams to capture integration requirements.
- Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and integration best practices.
- Monitor the health and performance of integrations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents.
- Optimize integration workflows for efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT with at least 8 years working with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP systems.
- 5+ years of experience with MuleSoft integration.
- Hands on collaboration on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform enabled integrations where applicable.
- Experience integrating Epicor P21 Cloud with Salesforce, banking platforms, eCommerce, or data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, CloudHub, API Manager, and related tools.
- Experience with EDI, ETL, and flat-file integrations.
- Expertise in API led connectivity, ESB architecture, and integration patterns.
- Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD Level 1) required; Architect level certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience migrating legacy integrations to MuleSoft.
- Hands-on integration experience with ERP systems (Epicor P21, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), CRM (Salesforce), and other enterprise apps.
- Knowledge of integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Celigo, or Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
