Job Description
Onsite in Cupertino, CA offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $140,000 per year for a Gen AI developer at Tata Consultancy Services. This role centers on AI native coding, LLM integration, and enterprise AI tooling, within a collaborative, innovation-driven culture that values practical impact and continuous learning.
You will contribute to building and deploying AI-enabled software solutions for enterprise contexts, translating complex AI concepts into reliable, scalable features that teams can rely on daily.
Requirements
- Minimum five years in a technical role such as solutions engineering, technical consulting, or systems engineering
- Strong understanding of full stack architecture, including frontend, backend, APIs, and databases, with insight into how parts connect
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Node.js, able to read, debug, and modify code confidently
- Proven AI native builder who uses LLMs (Claude, Copilot, etc.) to write code, with skills in prompting, evaluating output, and iterative refinement
- Experience integrating LLMs and AI into applications, including API calls, handling responses, and delivering AI-powered features
- UX sensibility to create intuitive, appealing interfaces in addition to functional capabilities
- Self-directed problem solver who can navigate unfamiliar infrastructure
- Strong grasp of APIs, data flows, and how enterprise systems interconnect
- Ability to navigate and leverage existing platforms like MCPs, enterprise AI tools, and internal tooling without building from scratch
- Skill in translating between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Prototyping mindset with an emphasis on fast iteration, avoiding over engineering, and thriving in ambiguity
