GCP Data Engineer

Infosys seeks a GCP Data Engineer in Richardson, TX onsite to document business requirements, guide design discussions, code and integrate features, perform code reviews, implement test strategies, develop training and documentation, resolve production issues, and maintain records across the full SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned portions of business requirements to support elicitation, aligned with project guidance
• Lead design discussions and capture design decisions to steer the technical team toward robust software solutions
• Code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while prioritizing system stability
• Perform code reviews, update the codebase, and manage code repositories
• Define and execute test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to maintain software quality
• Develop user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks to enable a smooth transition to new software
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing approaches, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base
