Job Description

Based onsite in Baltimore, MD, this Full Stack Software Engineer III role sits on Deloitte's AI & Engineering team, supporting a US Government client in a classified environment. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure, AI-enabled full-stack applications and APIs that meet stringent security and mission requirements, blending engineering across the stack with AI-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and enhance full-stack web applications, including front-end interfaces, back-end APIs, and supporting data structures.
  • Own assigned features across the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, development, testing, security hardening, and deployment documentation.
  • Develop applications using Python, .NET, HTML/CSS, and other web technologies in alignment with program security requirements and user experience needs.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities into applications, including intelligent search, large language model-powered features, and workflow automation.
  • Support code reviews, test coverage, documentation, and ongoing maintenance to improve application quality, security, and long-term usability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in application development, test-driven development, and the software development life cycle
  • 4+ years of experience in Python
  • 4+ years of experience in user interface design
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
