Full Stack Developer (Next.js / Node.js / Typescript)

Onsite in Long Beach, CA, this role offers a competitive annual salary of $110,000 to $130,000, plus benefits including a 401(k), health insurance, and life insurance. You will join a collaborative environment that partners with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver meaningful digital experiences across clinical trial platforms, veterinary-facing tools, patient engagement products, and internal applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to craft digital experiences that support our mission across clinical trial platforms, veterinary tools, patient engagement products, and internal applications.
• Design and implement robust front-end interfaces using Next.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and modify APIs by engaging with Node.js Moleculer microservices to support front-end features.
• Own features as a proactive, accountable member of a cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Core Front-End Expertise: Strong track record building modern, responsive, accessible web applications with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and CSS/SCSS.
• Back-End Capability: Solid Node.js and server-side architecture knowledge; comfortable navigating, modifying, and building API endpoints within a microservices setup (Moleculer experience is a big plus).
• Full-Stack Integration: Understanding of state management, data fetching, and integrating a Next.js client with distributed back-end services.
• Engineering Practices: Experience with modern software development lifecycles, version control, testing, debugging, and deploying in containerized Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical engineering experience.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and a history of thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented setting where you dive into unfamiliar code to ship features.
