Full Stack Developer 2

OPERS is hiring a Full Stack Developer 2 in Downtown Columbus with a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross functional team to design, build, maintain, enhance, and test web applications that support internal processes and member services, leveraging a variety of technologies.
• Partner with diverse teams to design and implement innovative solutions that meet member needs and advance the technology stack.

Requirements

• A passion for delivering high quality work
• Strong understanding of automated unit testing, HTML5, object oriented programming design, REST API design and development, and relational databases
• Minimum two years designing and developing web applications
• At least two years of experience working with Java
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in any field with Java focused training (candidates without a degree may be considered with an additional four years of relevant experience)
