Full Stack Developer

Ampcus Inc is hiring a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and supporting systems in Wilmington, DE on an onsite basis. This role centers on connecting front-end and back-end capabilities to deliver solutions that are robust, efficient, and focused on user needs.

In this position, you will build and refine production-ready software while helping teams improve quality over time. The work includes system design, troubleshooting, and ongoing contributions to engineering practices and team culture.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of scalable, resilient systems using Java, supporting continual, iterative improvements for product teams
• Execute end-to-end software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with the appropriate systems
• Contribute to architecture and design artifacts for applications, ensuring design constraints are met through code development
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and produce visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Support a team culture centered on diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Requirements

• Hands-on, practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency in Java and React
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
