Job Description

Arcadia Strategy Group LLC is seeking an expert Full-Stack Applications Developer to join its Chantilly, VA on-site team. This role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and centers on building and maintaining web services, APIs, and database-connected applications using Java, Node.js, Angular and TypeScript. The position emphasizes collaboration with technical stakeholders to ensure future technology plans align with customer architectures and data transfer standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and sustain web services, APIs, and database-integrated applications.
  • Partner with technical stakeholders to ensure technology roadmaps reflect customer architectures.
  • Handle data interchange and metadata using XML, JSON, or other customer-defined formats.
  • Create software applications as web services, with a primary focus on Java.
  • Engage with a stack that includes Node.js, Angular with TypeScript, Spring Boot with Hibernate and messaging, Groovy/Java on Grails, or scripting languages as needed.
  • Build, upgrade, and maintain APIs and REST-like interfaces.

Requirements

  • Develop and maintain applications that interact with Postgres, MySQL, relational databases, and cloud technologies such as AWS.
  • Experience working with relational and MySQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java and Python.
  • Implement and maintain APIs for integration between systems.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
  • Experience with microservices, Angular front-end development, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Agile environments.
