Filemaker Developer
Job Description
FileMaker Developer position at EPLS in Lancaster, PA (hybrid) offering $60,000 per year and requiring 3+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and sustain internal FileMaker applications.
- Collect and evaluate user needs to convert business requirements into functional database solutions.
- Build and refine layouts, scripts, calculations, and data relationships in FileMaker.
- Troubleshoot performance, database, and user interface issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for releases, applications, and processes.
- Collaborate with users, project managers, and IT to deliver solutions on schedule.
- Keep up to date with FileMaker updates and Claris technologies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on FileMaker development, including FileMaker Pro, Server, Go, or Cloud.
- Solid knowledge of relational database design and normalization principles.
- Proficiency in FileMaker scripting, custom functions, and calculations.
- Experience with FileMaker layouts, themes, and user interface design best practices.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate in a development team.
- Claris FileMaker Certified Developer
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience integrating FileMaker with REST APIs, SQL, XML, or JSON data sources.
- Familiarity with server administration and cloud deployment, including AWS, Azure, or FileMaker Cloud.
- Background in business process automation or workflow optimization.
- 3 years of FileMaker experience preferred.
