Responsibilities

• Develop fast and efficient DSP algorithms for embedded processors
• Architect and implement firmware for bare metal, RTOS, and Linux environments
• Assess algorithm performance by estimating resources such as MIPS, ROM, and RAM
• Coordinate software and hardware activities with other engineers, including prototyping, tuning algorithms, and performance testing
• Explore new technologies and evaluate their integration into VOCAL's product offerings

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• 7+ years of experience required
• Embedded software and C programming: 5 years (Required)
• Bachelor's degree (Required)
• Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of working experience in lieu of a degree
• US citizenship is required for all applicants due to government contracting
