The Principal Software Engineer will help develop high-quality, real-time embedded software for Software Defined Radios (SDR) running on fielded electronics platforms. This work supports defense-related mission systems, with collaboration across Systems, Hardware, and Test teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle in a hybrid work environment based in Hudson, NH.
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software for Software Defined Radios (SDR) on fielded electronics platforms.
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines to influence all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle with Systems, Hardware, and Test Engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of related experience, or a Master of Science with 4+ years of related experience.
- Experience with Python, Java, and C++.
- Experience with container technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, and Helm, as well as Container Network Interfaces.
- Experience developing software in a Linux development environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and motivation to operate effectively across a variety of related tasks.
- Current Secret clearance.

- Atlassian tools, GitLab CI/CD

- JavaScript, HTML+CSS, and thin client web application development experience.
Work Environment
This role is part of the New Hampshire team, focused on Next Generation Electronic Systems Products and Solutions for defense related customers, including Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning, and Electronic Attack. Work is hybrid, with time split between onsite and remote, within a flexible environment and a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.
Salary & Benefits
Full-Time Salary Range: USD 118,095 - 200,762 per year.
