ETL Developer

Hybrid ETL/SSIS Developer position in Fairport, NY with ConServe, offering a yearly salary of $86,000 to $102,000 and requiring a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor less experienced team members to grow technical capability and procedural proficiency.
• Analyze business drivers and challenges to propose technical solutions that address problems and enhance end user experience.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain both custom and commercially off the shelf applications.
• Diagnose production issues, identify root causes, and implement timely, robust fixes.
• Build partnerships with business stakeholders to collaboratively resolve issues.
• Keep peers and management informed of changes that could impact daily operations, staffing, schedules, or deliverables.
• Ensure quality control of application functionality to maintain data integrity and interoperability with peripherals.
• Assist end users in becoming proficient with applications through guidance and support.
• Create ad hoc reports as required.
• Produce and maintain functional and technical specifications and reference documentation.
• Follow the software development lifecycle to uphold system and programming standards.
• Safeguard operations by handling information confidentially.
• Adhere to ConServe PPMS and Code.

Requirements

• At least five years in an applications development or configuration management role.
• Proven ability to work independently, multitask with limited supervision, and contribute as a team player.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical problems to non technical audiences.
• Experience managing multiple changing priorities and meeting deadlines in a professional manner.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• On call support availability on a rotating basis.
• Ability to work remotely from a home office and travel to ConServe offices as needed.
• United States citizenship or lawful permanent residency with at least three years of permanent residency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
• No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our clients.
