Database Developer
Job Description
Pentalpha Surveillance is hiring a Database Developer for a full-time, hybrid role based in Buffalo, New York. The position focuses on ETL data loading and validation, the development and maintenance of database functionality for in-house applications, and the production of low to medium complexity reports.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes to load data from structured and unstructured sources into relational databases.
- Develop and manage database functions, procedures, and triggers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and user manuals.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to build, enhance, and support database functionality while ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Requirements
- Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL and solid understanding of relational database concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
- Ability to professionally manage confidential and sensitive information.
