Database Administrator / Data Engineer

Database Administrator / Data Engineer role supporting migrations from on-prem SQL Server to cloud databases and building AWS-based data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with database migration efforts
• Perform Python-based data processing and support data loads
• Develop AWS data pipelines for applications using Amazon RDS and DynamoDB

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration, Data Engineering, or a related role
• Experience migrating on-prem SQL Server databases to AWS and Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) or similar migration tooling
• Experience working with AWS database services, including Amazon RDS and DynamoDB
• Experience creating Python scripts for data processing and data loading
• Experience building AWS data pipelines using S3, Glue, and Lambda
• Experience with data modeling and supporting application data environments
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub

Location and Schedule

Employment Details

• Contract duration through July 31, 2026 with possible extension
