Job Description

The Data Engineer role within PV Prime Video TV - Tech at Amazon focuses on designing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to enable data driven decision making across Prime Video. The position leverages AWS big data technologies to ingest and integrate data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

  • As part of PV Commerce Analytics, contribute to major Prime Video investments planned for 2026, operating within a large, complex data warehouse environment and delivering scalable data infrastructure that unifies diverse data sources.
  • Leverage AWS big data tools including Redshift, EMR/Spark, Andes Data Lake, and other native AWS services to build and maintain pipelines ingesting data from Video Commerce, Digital Commerce, Prime, and Device Platform teams. The resulting datasets will support 50+ downstream teams for reporting, analysis, ML models, and ad hoc requests.
  • Design high performance data products that directly enable data driven decisions across Prime Video.
  • Design complex pipelines and models powering subscription, transaction, and device registration datasets.
  • Deliver scalable data solutions on native AWS infrastructure.
  • Develop data quality validation frameworks and monitoring to ensure data integrity and timeliness.
  • Build and optimize batch and near real time processing workflows using Spark, Redshift, and Andes.
  • Implement robust orchestration and monitoring for workflows with complex dependencies.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to onboard new data sources.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of data engineering experience.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in SQL.

Compensation

USD 132,100 - 178,800 per year.
