Data Engineer III

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Engineer III to join the External Reporting and Finance Control team in Jersey City, onsite. This role is focused on designing and delivering trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions, while developing, testing, and maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures that span multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Supports control reviews to safeguard enterprise data.
• Advises on and implements tailored configurations in one to two tools to produce business or customer-facing products.
• Updates logical or physical data models to reflect new use cases.
• Utilizes SQL regularly and has familiarity with NoSQL databases and their market role.
• Contributes to a team culture that values diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in data engineering and ETL use cases.
• Experience across the data lifecycle.
• Advanced SQL skills, including joins and aggregations.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Mongo.
• Strong experience with statistical data analysis and the ability to select appropriate tools and data patterns for analysis.
• Experience customizing tool configurations to generate a product.
