Job Description

Location: Seattle, WA (onsite). This Data Engineer II, Product BI role at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. offers a competitive annual compensation range of USD 132,100 to 178,800, complemented by a robust benefits package. Responsibilities

  • Develop data products that simplify customer challenges and enhance both operational and technical efficiency
  • Design and operate scalable data architectures to handle growing data volumes, ensure compliance, and adapt to diverse business needs
  • Deliver product innovations by leveraging foundational services such as EC2, Redshift Serverless, Containers (ECS, EKS) and streaming offerings to continuously release new insights and differentiate AWS services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience
  • 3+ years building and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using ETL/ELT processes
  • 3+ years building and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using OLAP technologies
  • 3+ years of data modeling experience in BI contexts
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • 3+ years of Oracle experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
