Data Engineer Consultant

In this United States onsite role, the Data Engineer Consultant will design, build, and maintain the data foundation that supports reporting and analytics. You will collaborate across teams to implement data solutions and keep data infrastructure reliable and efficient as needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data warehouses, data pipelines, and other storage solutions for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
• Work cross-functionally to understand data requirements and implement data modeling, analysis, and visualization solutions.
• Monitor data pipeline and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply optimizations that improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Partner with leadership on internal process improvements, including infrastructure redesign for scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and industry trends, contributing ideas to continuously improve data infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry.
