Job Description

Amego seeks a hands-on analytics leader to own data strategy, metrics, reporting, and BI contractor management, with responsibility for data pipelines, dashboards, automation, IT support, and data governance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership, program directors, finance, HR, and clinical leadership to identify data needs and convert them into concrete reporting and analytics deliverables.
  • Define and sustain Amego's core operational, clinical, and financial metrics.
  • Oversee recurring reporting cycles such as board reports, program performance reviews, and compliance reporting, plus ad-hoc analyses for leadership decisions.
  • Act as the internal subject-matter expert on Amego's data, its definitions, and its capabilities.
  • Manage the daily relationship with the external BI contractor.
  • Translate business needs into precise requirements and review contractor deliverables for quality, accuracy, and usability.
  • Coordinate priorities, timelines, and budget; ensure contractor work integrates with internal systems.
  • Assess the BI engagement over time and propose changes to scope, vendor, or in-house balance as needs evolve.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, data models, and reports against Amego’s systems including NetSuite, electronic health records, payroll, SharePoint, and others.
  • Create dashboards and self-service reporting using Power BI.
  • Construct and maintain data pipelines and integrations with Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Python or equivalent technologies.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and timeliness; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Document data sources, definitions, transformations, and reporting logic.
  • Identify manual, repetitive processes across departments and implement automation to eliminate them.
  • Create integrations between systems to reduce duplicate data entry and reconciliation efforts.
  • Support compliance and operational reporting workflows, including MassHealth renewals, internal audits, and regulatory submissions.
  • Provide tier 2 support for escalated issues from staff across residential, clinical, and administrative locations.
  • Assist with user account management, permissions, and access provisioning across NetSuite, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
  • Contribute to small IT projects including software rollouts, system upgrades, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base content.
  • Ensure data practices comply with Amego security policies and HIPAA requirements.
  • Implement and maintain role-based access controls for sensitive data.
  • Establish and document data governance practices suitable for a growing organization.

Requirements

  • Experience with NetSuite data and administration, including ODBC connections and saved searches.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Power Platform tools.
  • Background in healthcare, human services, or another regulated industry; familiarity with HIPAA.
  • Familiarity with MassHealth, Medicaid, or other public payer data.
  • Experience establishing or significantly maturing an analytics function.
  • Experience in a small-team environment with cross-disciplinary roles.

Salary

  • $100,000 - $110,000 per year
