Amego seeks a hands-on analytics leader to own data strategy, metrics, reporting, and BI contractor management, with responsibility for data pipelines, dashboards, automation, IT support, and data governance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership, program directors, finance, HR, and clinical leadership to identify data needs and convert them into concrete reporting and analytics deliverables.
- Define and sustain Amego's core operational, clinical, and financial metrics.
- Oversee recurring reporting cycles such as board reports, program performance reviews, and compliance reporting, plus ad-hoc analyses for leadership decisions.
- Act as the internal subject-matter expert on Amego's data, its definitions, and its capabilities.
- Manage the daily relationship with the external BI contractor.
- Translate business needs into precise requirements and review contractor deliverables for quality, accuracy, and usability.
- Coordinate priorities, timelines, and budget; ensure contractor work integrates with internal systems.
- Assess the BI engagement over time and propose changes to scope, vendor, or in-house balance as needs evolve.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, data models, and reports against Amego’s systems including NetSuite, electronic health records, payroll, SharePoint, and others.
- Create dashboards and self-service reporting using Power BI.
- Construct and maintain data pipelines and integrations with Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Python or equivalent technologies.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and timeliness; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Document data sources, definitions, transformations, and reporting logic.
- Identify manual, repetitive processes across departments and implement automation to eliminate them.
- Create integrations between systems to reduce duplicate data entry and reconciliation efforts.
- Support compliance and operational reporting workflows, including MassHealth renewals, internal audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Provide tier 2 support for escalated issues from staff across residential, clinical, and administrative locations.
- Assist with user account management, permissions, and access provisioning across NetSuite, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
- Contribute to small IT projects including software rollouts, system upgrades, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base content.
- Ensure data practices comply with Amego security policies and HIPAA requirements.
- Implement and maintain role-based access controls for sensitive data.
- Establish and document data governance practices suitable for a growing organization.
Requirements
- Experience with NetSuite data and administration, including ODBC connections and saved searches.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Power Platform tools.
- Background in healthcare, human services, or another regulated industry; familiarity with HIPAA.
