Data Engineer role in Orlando, FL onsite with Professional Staffing Services Group.

Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain stable, secure, and scalable data engineering solutions and pipelines, including integrating new sources into our central data warehouse and moving data out to applications and affiliates.
Maintain, monitor, and optimize analytics data warehouses and the overall data platform.
Deliver hands-on development, deployment, maintenance, and support for a variety of cloud and on-premise solutions, web service infrastructures, and supporting technologies.
Produce scalable, replicable code and engineering solutions to automate repetitive data management tasks.
Partner closely with project managers, business analysts, data scientists, and key stakeholders to translate functional business requirements into technical specifications and ensure data infrastructure meets business needs.
Maintain a critical eye on our technical strategy, proactively identifying performance gaps and designing creative solutions.

Minimum of 1 year of related data engineering or IT experience.
3+ years of related data engineering or IT experience (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science required; Master's degree preferred.
Snowflake and Python certifications are highly preferred, but not required.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail, systemic thinking, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
Proven experience with the Apache Spark framework, Hadoop, Java/Scala, Python, and AWS architecture.
Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, VB.Net) and designing, developing, and deploying Windows and Web applications.
Data modeling and database development using PL/SQL, SQL Server (2016 or later), and Snowflake. Strong working knowledge of relational databases and query authoring (SQL).
Proven experience building data pipelines, APIs, and ETL flows in cloud and on-premise environments using Snowpipe, Informatica, Airflow, and Kafka.
A track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected, or unstructured datasets, with the ability to perform root-cause analysis on data processes to identify business opportunities.
