Cyber Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Perform software development duties with an emphasis on cyber design, development, and troubleshooting within the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) Integrated Engineering organization, located in Manassas, Virginia.
- Consult and build new security architectures across a very large and critical DoD system of systems.
- Provide cyber engineering expertise in diverse technical assignments, from supporting technical reviews.
- Partner in new architecture efforts ensuring Cyber Zero Trust standards.
- Contribute to product engineering.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain DoD Interim Secret Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- C++ and/or Java development experience, ideally with parallelization techniques, performance optimization, and networking.
- Experience developing containerized applications.
- Knowledge of running and managing containers on Linux distributions.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture.

Work Arrangements
- Part-time remote telework: the selected candidate will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility; the specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
- Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour days, 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin also supports a variety of alternate schedules to provide additional flexibility.
