Cyber RF Software Engineer Senior

This senior Cyber RF Software Engineer position leads DSP and RF software development efforts, guiding integration efforts and delivering cyber RF solutions within Lockheed Martin RMS. The role is based onsite in Hanover, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more software development teams and ensure alignment with the project software development process.
• Mentor team members to support growth and skill development.
• Consult with stakeholders to analyze user requirements and translate them into design and performance specifications.
• Design and implement new software or modify existing code to add features.
• Debug and resolve defects to maintain reliable and efficient software.
• Recommend improvements to documentation and software development process standards.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments; requires deep knowledge of C++, Kubernetes, Python 3.0, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply Agile Sprint Development methodologies and contribute to projects involving Digital Signal Processing and related RF technologies.

Requirements

• Active security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution.
• Equivalency: MS in Engineering/CS plus 2 years of experience or 4 years DSP experience plus a high school diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes.
• Minimum 4 years of professional programming experience using C++, Linux, and Python (or comparable languages).

• Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in specified states is $104,900 - $184,920. For states not listed, the salary range will reflect the final work location. This information is a general guideline only.
