Job Description
Leoforce seeks a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and deploy BI solutions that translate business requirements into actionable insights. The role emphasizes data accuracy, security, and governance, with an on-site basis in Orlando, Florida, and a compensation range of USD 30 to 35 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deploy BI assets such as reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to capture BI requirements and document them clearly.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into precise technical specifications.
- Create complex SQL queries and data extraction scripts.
- Utilize SSIS to implement ETL processes.
- Guard data accuracy and integrity across BI solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot BI tools and systems.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Perform regular system testing and apply security measures to protect data.
- Stay current with industry trends and propose enhancements to data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Data Scientist, or a similar role in the accounting and finance sector.
- Proficiency in Power BI, ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and SSIS.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Excellent problem solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles is a plus.
