Job Description

Parsons is seeking a Baseband-Savvy CNO Developer for an on-site role in Annapolis Junction, MD, supporting a critical customer mission. The position combines reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and embedded development in C within a small, expert team where mentorship from senior subject matter experts helps you expand your skills while contributing directly to national security outcomes.

This role requires an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph security clearance. If you value hands-on technical work, tight collaboration, and mission impact, this is a strong fit for experienced engineers who want to operate at the intersection of embedded systems and CNO capabilities.

What you’ll do

  • Perform reverse engineering of embedded systems and binaries.
  • Design, develop, and implement embedded software capabilities in C.
  • Apply vulnerability research and CNO skills to discover and implement novel solutions.
  • Work on-site at a contractor facility, fully integrated into a small expert team.
  • Collaborate with senior subject matter experts and leverage mentorship to grow technical depth.
  • Support efforts that help enhance national security and protect critical systems.

What you’ll need

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 8 years of software engineering and reverse engineering experience (or 2 years additional experience with a Master’s as a substitute).
  • Experience with reverse engineering.
  • Experience with the C programming language.
  • Experience supporting development on or analysis of mobile devices.

Desired skills you’ll bring

  • Experience with vulnerability research (examples include exploit development, fuzzing, or security analysis of embedded systems).
  • Familiarity with common reverse engineering tools and environments such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and binary analysis platforms.
  • Experience in CNO or related cybersecurity operations.

Compensation and benefits

Salary range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00 per year.
