Backend Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is seeking a Backend Software Engineer - AI Trainer for a remote contract role. The position centers on crafting coding problems to train AI systems, delivering high quality code and explanations, and assessing AI generated code for quality and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and solve a range of coding challenges used to train AI systems.
• Author clear, high quality code snippets along with thorough explanations.
• Assess AI generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Provide feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
