Job Description

TriNet is building and supporting web and mobile applications that help deliver reliable software experiences. As an Associate Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA (onsite), you will contribute to developing, testing, troubleshooting, and releasing products, while working with geographically diverse scrum teams using Agile. You will also have the opportunity to continuously improve how software gets delivered through better processes, methods, and tools.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop new solutions, implement enhancements and updates to existing solutions, and independently fix issues in the system
  • Collaborate with geographically diverse scrum teams using Agile methodology and project management software
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement improved processes, methods, and tools to strengthen software delivery effectiveness
  • Learn new technologies quickly to support existing products and products on the strategic road map
  • Contribute across the software development life cycle with emphasis on development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging
  • Support best coding practices and assist with code merges and releases
  • Develop unit and automation test scripts under a test-driven development lifecycle
  • Work comfortably independently or in collaboration with others
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred
  • Typically less than 2 years of experience developing products and platforms using either UI or backend web technologies
  • Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Software development experience with Java, Python, or other object-oriented languages
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and API protocol knowledge including REST, gRPC, and graphQL
  • Familiarity with best coding practices, UI and backend architectures, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, PostGres, and MongoDB

Compensation & benefits

Salary range: USD 69,900 - 118,000 per year.
