Job Description
BioBridge Global offers an onsite role in San Antonio, TX with a competitive annual salary of USD 88,800 - 113,100. In this Application Developer II position, you will mentor a team of developers and shape the design, development, enhancement, and ongoing support of applications used by BioBridge Global and its subsidiaries. You will collaborate with internal customers to define scope and deliver value, while staying current with development advancements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Application Developers to meet software project and maintenance goals.
- Design, enhance and implement new and existing software applications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for multiple standard organizational platforms.
- Design UI mock-ups and translate them into a ReactJS front end.
- Make design and technical decisions for ReactJS projects.
- Develop application code and unit tests in ReactJS, API, and RESTful services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Research and evaluate new application technologies.
- Be directly involved in at least two platforms among Microsoft .NET Core, C#, SharePoint, Cloud Development, SQL Server, Oracle, workflow, and other app development technologies.
- Design, prepare and execute coded unit tests using MS Visual Studio testing tools.
- Mentor junior developers and review applications for quality and standardization.
- Maintain development standards for team projects in GitHub.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings to stay up to date with application development advances.
- Meet with internal customers to gather requirements and define scope and deliverables.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of all software applications.
- Provide technical strategy and best practice direction to colleagues.
- Communicate with other departments regarding application issues.
- Oversee management of all mission critical applications to ensure availability.
- Maintain close working relationships with departmental management and coworkers.
- Perform additional duties as required by management.
Requirements
- Requires five or more years of Applications Developer experience.
- Requires programming experience with object oriented programming languages, with C# language preferred.
- Requires SQL language experience, with T-SQL and PL/SQL preferred.
- Requires extensive experience developing web applications quickly and effectively using ReactJS, HTML5/CSS3, and jQuery.
- Requires source control experience, with Team Foundation Server and GitHub preferred.

Working Environment & Travel Requirements
Works in a well lit, air conditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other typical office conditions. May require working at any time of day, evening or night during the week or weekend, including being on call. Occupational Exposure Assignment - Category II.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization.
- Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
- Requires ability to reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
