Role overview
You will develop, support, and optimize ecommerce websites and web applications, assist with launching new stores or experiences as needed, and design and maintain integrations that connect internal systems with customer, supplier, and partner platforms. The position includes quality assurance, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with marketing, sales, and operations to enhance the user experience and ensure secure, scalable solutions.

- Provide proactive feedback to supervisors on issues and potential improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ecommerce websites and web applications; assist with new stores and experiences as business needs dictate.
- Perform quality assurance testing to identify and resolve bugs; troubleshoot as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to implement new features and improve user experience.
- Monitor performance, security, and scalability; implement necessary enhancements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce development.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations between internal systems, customer systems, suppliers, and third-party platforms.
- Build and support integrations using Azure Integration Services, REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, EDI transactions, Azure Functions, cXML, SFTP, and other data transformation tools.
- Collaborate with customers and external partners to gather integration requirements and technical specifications; monitor performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Develop documentation for integration architecture, workflows, mappings, and support procedures.
- Assist with onboarding new customers requiring custom integration and automated order processing workflows.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and recommend scalable integration solutions.
- Work with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Technology teams to implement new functionality and improve user experience.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all integrated systems.
- Assist with ERP, CRM, marketing automation, and order management system integrations as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, ecommerce development, systems integration, or a related technical role.
- Experience supporting customer-facing web applications and business-critical integrations.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Services.
- Proficiency in C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience in ecommerce development; familiarity with SQL and Microsoft .NET.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio and modern software development practices.
- Experience with version control systems such as TortoiseSVN; familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of EDI, cXML, and SFTP transaction processing, mapping, and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative and critical thinker who works well in a team and demonstrates a proactive mindset.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements; open to change initiatives.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; a strong can-do attitude.

Compensation and location
Salary is USD 85,000 to 120,000 per year. This is a hybrid remote role based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, 54701.
