Appian Developer

Marathon TS is seeking an Appian Developer for a hybrid remote position that supports a Federal Agency in the DC metro area. The role emphasizes the full lifecycle of Appian projects, from planning and building to testing and deployment, with a focus on translating business needs into effective Appian solutions.

Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 per year • Location: Remote (hybrid) • Minimum experience: 1 year

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Appian applications including process models, SAIL interfaces, records, and reports
• Convert business requirements into technical Appian solutions
• Support enhancements and ongoing maintenance of existing applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Appian applications and platform components
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and business stakeholders across cross-functional teams
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to Appian best practices
• Assist in integrating Appian with external systems via REST and SOAP APIs
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and support deployments
• Document technical designs, issues, and solutions for stakeholders

Requirements

• Ability to move between deep code-level work, architectural design, and end-user perspectives
• Team player, versatile, and eager to tackle new problems
• At least 1+ years of experience building and delivering enterprise-grade Appian applications
• Appian Associate Developer certification with the most recent version
• Strong capability to learn complex technical concepts quickly; solid oral, written, and presentation skills
• Hands-on experience with databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle
• Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes
• U.S. Citizenship required
