Amazon Connect Developer

Blue Space Healthcare is hiring an Amazon Connect Developer (W2) for an onsite role in Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week). This position offers $75.00 to $80.00 per hour and an opportunity to work deeply with Amazon Connect and AWS Cloud services in an enterprise environment. An in-person interview is required.

What You’ll Do

• Design call routing and messaging for customer interactions.
• Gather, review, and document requirements to support build and implementation.
• Create process-flow documentation that captures end-to-end interaction logic.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience working with large enterprise frameworks.
• 7+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Amazon Connect experience.
• 3+ years with Node.js, Python, or Java.
• 3+ years designing call routing and messaging.
• Strong development experience with AWS Cloud and Amazon Connect.
• Extensive experience with IVR, ACD, skill-based routing, and live chat.
• Experience gathering, reviewing, and documenting requirements.
• Experience creating process-flow documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Lambda, Lex, conversational bots/NLP, Kinesis Streams, Glue, VPC, SNS, AppSync, EventBridge, Kinesis Firehose, DynamoDB Streams, Service Catalog, and Kinesis Data Analytics.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior federal government experience.
• Experience working independently and within team environments.
• Strong understanding of change management and testing practices.
• Experience supporting high-availability systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven enterprise environment.

Pay: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour (W2).
