Job Description

The Advanced Quality Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods used to inspect, test, and evaluate production processes and finished products. The role includes auditing, corrective action support, document reviews, and participation in technical and cross-functional reviews.

Compensation

USD 105,814 - 117,387 per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze project data; generate and/or review quality metrics
  • Develop methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating production processes, equipment, and finished products
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for processing materials
  • Analyze reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates to quality standards
  • Conduct audits, assign corrective actions, and verify corrective action implementation
  • Witness and/or monitor test activities
  • Review documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements
  • Resolve problems of moderate scope
  • Participate in project reviews and meetings, including technical design reviews and technical peer reviews
  • Interface with multiple engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel

Required Qualifications

  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility is required at time of hire
  • Selected applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Due to work performed within company facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
  • Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related Science or Mathematics field) plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree plus minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Fully proficient knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards (software, electrical, systems, etc.)
  • Fully proficient knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related standards
  • Fully proficient knowledge of inspection and measurement tools and techniques
