TechSpyders Inc is hiring a ServiceNow HRSD Solution Architect / Developer / Engineer for a hybrid role in Tysons Corner, VA supporting a federal customer. This position focuses on designing and improving ServiceNow HR service management capabilities that help HR operations deliver strong user experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and deployment of ServiceNow HRSD solutions, aligning implementation with solution architecture best practices and organizational goals.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to capture requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into scalable designs.
- Create architecture diagrams, integration strategies, and technical documentation to support deployment and continuous enhancements.
- Build automation workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to streamline HR processes such as case management, onboarding, offboarding, and knowledge management.
- Maintain system stability through system tuning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across software implementation, configuration management, and storage management.
- Develop and manage integrations with external systems, including databases, RESTful APIs, and other enterprise applications.
- Perform system testing, validation, and UAT to support high-quality deliverables, and provide ongoing support for troubleshooting and system support activities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, including HRSD modules and solution design best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting, including JavaScript, Bash (Unix shell), and PowerShell, plus experience with REST APIs and API development for integrations.
- Familiarity with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, with expertise in T-SQL or PL/SQL for data manipulation and system support.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles for tuning and recovery strategies.
- Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs for secure communications.
- Ability to implement automation solutions across diverse IT environments using scripting tools; configuration management tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated system design experience for high availability environments using cloud or vendor-provided technologies.
- Information security knowledge, including access controls via Azure EntraID SSO, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Experience supporting microservices architectures using RESTful APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills focused on performance tuning and system troubleshooting in complex environments.
- Federal public trust clearance required, with US Citizenship or at least three years receiving US Green Card.
