EndeavorCX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead AI engineering efforts, build features, design and implement API methods, and enhance the performance and reliability of Agentic AI systems. This role involves owning production code and driving the adoption of emerging best practices in agentic architectures, model integration, evaluation, and LLM application development.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at EndeavorCX, you will set the technical direction for the AI engineering practice across the platform, guiding the design, construction, and operation of Agentic AI systems to deliver scalable and dependable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI engineering practice, defining how we design, build, and operate Agentic AI systems across the platform.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging best practices in agentic architectures, model integration, prompt and context engineering, evaluation, and LLM application development, translating them into production standards.
- Contribute to production code directly, architect core systems, handle critical paths, and establish quality standards through code ownership and reviews.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Frontend Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for a growing user base.
- Lead or significantly contribute to large cross-functional projects with meaningful business impact.
- Own features or systems long term, improving their health and the health of adjacent components.
- Develop evaluation, observability, and reliability tooling to keep AI systems accurate, safe, and performant in production.
- Assist the support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience building web applications.
- Hands-on experience delivering production systems with LLMs or agentic AI, including model integration, evaluation, and reliability practices at scale.
- Ability to assess state-of-the-art AI engineering developments and judge which techniques are ready for production.
- Experience leading technical architecture discussions and guiding technical decisions within a team.
- Written and spoken communication that yields understandable, testable code and clear collaboration.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.

Salary: USD 100,000 to 150,000 per year.
