Web Application Developer
Job Description
Full-time Web Application Developer role (9-month contract) onsite in Oklahoma City, OK to support the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture’s Inspections application.
Responsibilities
- Convert existing fillable PDF inspection documents into interactive HTML forms for data collection
- Build JavaScript functionality to capture inspector-entered data and store it in a SQL database
- Support generation and storage of PDF documents using Jinja templates
- Develop and maintain application functionality that supports agricultural inspection workflows
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and the development team to assist with replacing the existing inspections platform
- Provide JavaScript development support to help maintain project timelines and deliverables
- Write, test, and troubleshoot application code to ensure reliable system performance
- Support database integration and data management activities
- Assist with application enhancements, defect resolution, and system improvements
- Participate in testing and validation to confirm application functionality meets business requirements
- Document development processes, technical solutions, and application updates
Requirements
- Beginner to intermediate software development experience
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Experience developing with HTML
- Experience developing with CSS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and development tools quickly
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite in Oklahoma City

Compensation & Location
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK (onsite)
- Pay: USD 35 - 40 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time; 9-month contract
