Systems Integration and Data Engineer

FuntoRecruit is seeking a Systems Integration and Data Engineer for an RFP-associated opportunity in Carolina, PR (onsite). The engagement focuses on closing a delivery-coverage gap tied to an IT Sourcing Event Template and owning the connected workstream across multiple project teams.

Role Overview

The selected engineer will define and manage system interfaces and data mappings, oversee migration and reconciliation activities, coordinate identity integration, and produce technical acceptance evidence. Work includes tracing deliverables back to the RFP scope and related requirement or RTM rows, ensuring documentation is complete, reviewable, and aligned to acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Define interfaces, data mappings, migration, reconciliation, identity integration, error handling, and technical acceptance evidence.
• Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence.
• Review official solicitation materials and addenda impacting the workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions.
• Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
• Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
• Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records; escalate blockers before they impact submission or delivery readiness.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience performing Systems Integration and Data Engineer responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.

Project Status and Compensation

Project Status: Green - Open - Apply by October 7, 2026

Rate: Estimated USD 65 - 139 per hour based on role, experience, and final project requirements
