Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales, business development, and go-to-market strategies to win new customers and enable their deployment of desktops and applications on AWS
- Identify target customer segments and build the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new opportunities, deliver enablement artifacts, and empower sales teams for long-term growth
- Engage enterprise lighthouse customers and partners to present the CDS value proposition, including senior-level meetings to address business issues and help achieve outcomes
- Establish measurement and tracking for adoption programs related to CDS, using data to optimize ROI
- Act as an evangelist for CDS outside and inside AWS
- Own the creation and orchestration of the strategic business development plan in collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as sales, product services, legal, and support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and/or program or product management with national and/or international scope
- 5+ years selling or driving partnerships and programs around cloud, hosted, and managed services in the technology industry
- 5+ years’ experience selling enterprise datacenter and/or application technologies, preferably cloud-based
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience collaborating with partners including leading GSIs and ISVs
- Experience with CPaaS channels such as email, SMS, push notifications, telephony, audio, and video, including high-scale inbound and outbound email
- Strong complex agreement negotiation skills and business and financial acumen
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of turning data into strategic insights that drive adoption and business recommendations
- Ability to develop business justifications for cloud technology roadmap adoption
- Proven ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
