Job Description
Senior full stack software engineer onsite in McLean, VA, responsible for designing, building, integrating, and deploying AI enabled cybersecurity capabilities for Booz Allen Hamilton customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and release new capabilities.
- Implement Agentic AI software and stitch together cybersecurity tools to deliver defensive cyber solutions for clients.
- Lead greenfield software development initiatives.
- End to end integration with the industry’s leading cybersecurity tools per the team roadmap.
- Use AI coding tools to rapidly scaffold, implement, review, and test new software features.
- Work autonomously in the face of ambiguous requirements.
- Convert complex requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
- Architect solutions and design approaches.
- Estimate complexity and plan sequencing of work.
- Implement the capability and deliver production ready software.
- Operate within a high velocity engineering team that keeps pace with technology.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- At least 6 years of experience with data storage technologies such as SQL, document databases, or graph databases.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud and containers (such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes).
- At least 3 years of system to system integration development experience via APIs.
- At least 3 years deploying, configuring, and operating applications and tools.
- Experience with LLM, Agentic AI, RAG, and MCP implementation.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.

Work Model
Onsite: work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with collaboration as required.

Remote: occasional in person work may be required at Booz Allen or customer facilities.

Compensation
Projected compensation range: USD 86,800 to USD 198,000 per year. Location and other factors influence final compensation; the range shown reflects typical bounds for this role.
